Ms. Baker has been liscensed in Arkansas since 1997. She is licensed to practice in all state courts in Arkansas and the federal Western District Court of Arkansas. Although maintaining a general practice including respresentation in Social Security disability cases, family/divorce/and child custody law, contract law, and criminal law, Ms. Baker devotes a significant portion of her time representing juveniles and children in proceedings as one of only two Crawford County attorneys certified by the State of Arkansas as an Attorney ad Litem. Ms. Baker also currently serves the City of Alma as the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.

Ms. Baker received a juris doctorate upon graduating from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock in June 1996, in the top one-third of her class and writing top papers in Environmental Law and International Business Transactions. During her time as a law student, Ms. Baker was employed by the Arkansas Attorney General's Office, Criminal Division, where she drafted appellate briefs submitted to the Arkansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals in defense of verdicts in favor of the state rendered by Circuit Courts in Arkansas. After becoming licensed as an attorney, Ms. Baker worked as an associate for the law firm Gilker & Jones assisting in the representation of various Arkansas corporations and businesses in the area of labor and employment law defense.

Ms. Baker is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and the Crawford County Bar Association. She also serves on the board of the River Valley Volunteer Attorney Project, the board for the Alma Area Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Crawford County Business and Professional Womens' Association.

Ms. Baker is married to Chris Baker, Sales Representative for RexNord and has two children, Grant and Delaney.
